New York officials provided an update Monday on the investigation into the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The person of interest in Thompson’s killing was identified as Luigi Mangione, a 26-year-old man who was spotted at a McDonald’s by someone who had seen photos police put out on the case, officials said. He was taken into custody in Pennsylvania on firearm charges.
