Prosecutors in Florida school shooter Nikolas Cruz’s penalty trial began their rebuttal on Tuesday by showing the jury swastikas he drew on a gun magazine and his boots, his use of racist and misogynistic language online and his online searches for child pornography. They are trying to show that Cruz’s actions were driven by antisocial personality disorder, not fetal alcohol spectrum disorder as the defense contends. Cruz pleaded guilty to the murders of 17 people during a 2018 shooting at Parkland’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.
