Examining the U.S. presidential transition process

The executive branch is preparing for what happens after the 2024 election, and the possibility they’ll have to pack up and make way for a new administration. The Partnership for Public Service, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit, breaks the transition into three phases — with one already underway.
