President Biden delivered remarks on the U.S. economy Thursday after the Labor Department reported inflation subsided in December, reflecting the smallest annual increase since October 2021. The Consumer Price Index rose at an annual rate of 6.5%, in line with economists’ expectations. Biden also addressed the second group of classified documents dating from his time as vice president that was found in his home in Wilmington, Delaware.
