A day after Alex Murdaugh’s defense rested its case in his murder trial, prosecutors are calling rebuttal witnesses to the stand before the two sides present their closing statements. Also this week, the jury is expected to visit the South Carolina home where Murdaugh’s wife and son were fatally shot in June 2021. The once-prominent attorney insists he had nothing to do with the killings, and one of the defense witnesses said Monday he believes there were two shooters.
