Alex Murdaugh’s defense team is laying out its case at his double murder trial in Walterboro, South Carolina. The now-disbarred attorney is accused of killing his wife and 22-year-old son in June 2021. The first witness on the stand Tuesday was Murdaugh’s surviving son, Buster. Murdaugh has pleaded not guilty.
