Israel’s security cabinet has approved the Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal with Hamas that was announced earlier this week. The deal still needs to be approved by the full Israeli cabinet and if it is, it is expected to be put in place Sunday. CBS News senior foreign correspondent Elizabeth Palmer has more.
