Former Forth Worth police officer Aaron Dean was found guilty of manslaughter on Thursday in the 2019 killing of Atatiana Jefferson. Dean was on trial for fatally shooting Jefferson, a Black woman, through a rear window of her home. Dean had been initially indicted on a murder charge. On Wednesday, the judge told jurors they could consider a manslaughter verdict.
